It receives CETB funding and is managed by a voluntary Board of Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centre subscribes to a holistic approach to training concerning itself not only with the instructing of the various skills but with the young persons personal development and well being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides the training provided by the core courses, guidance is given in job seeking skills, career planning, social and personal skills as well as the team building skills encouraged through a variety of cultural and sporting activities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>History The Centre was set up in 1985 to provide training for early school leavers and young unemployed persons from the area.
