The Centre

Mayfield Community Training Centre was established in 1985 to cater for the training needs of the Mayfield area. In 1997, the centre moved from its original base in the Mayfield Shopping Centre to larger premises in the local business park where it now occupies a six thousand square foot building. The Centre caters for individuals between the ages of 16 and 21. Entry to the courses is by interview; no qualifications are necessary.

Mayfield CTC operates a 12-1 ratio. Learners, depending on their age are given a training allowance based on the hours that they attend the centre. A board of management govern the centre.
